Can't believe it has been almost a year since winning my MENTL Award!

Can’t believe it has been almost a year since winning my MENTL Award. Huge thank you to Scott Armstrong and the judges and excited to see who the winners will be this year although anyone in the space of advocating for Mental Health is already a winner!

In case you missed it on the socials here is what the Mentl Space shared recently:

Sometimes it feels like we are all startups in the mental health space.

Every individual and organisation is on its own journey as we learn more about the importance of mental health, and how optimising can help each us thrive, at a personal level and in the professional world.

For startups and SMEs, who make up the bulk of the economy, that challenge can be amplified by the scale of the task before us.

Which is why we have a category to owner startups and SMEs in 'the mentl awards 2024'.

What difference will that make to you, the entrepreneur climbing that mountain?

Well our winner from last year, Nikki Steele Osborne aka @thescottishsoulsister said: "Winning the Best Mental Health Program for the Start-Up and SME Sector 2023 was a huge achievement for me and my small business supporting Maternal Mental Health.

"Being in the arena with those making such a big impact supporting mental health was both exhilarating and absolutely terrifying as a nominee.

"Since launching my business The Scottish Soul Sister I have dedicated my time, passion and purpose to supporting Maternal Mental Health with Simple, Sustainable Selfcare.

"One of the ways in which I do so is through the digital resource I created called Stepping Into Parenthood. Being recognised for my vision to support families by the judges at this prestigious award ceremony is something I will always be grateful for.

"It validates the work I do and helps to amplify the need to normalise conversations around the challenges that can be faced when becoming a parent. Receiving this award was truly meaningful for me as the respected panel of judges were thorough in only awarding those based on genuine merit and impact.

"I was inspired by the people in the room all coming together and am

honored to have been a part of it. I will continue to advocate and raise my voice for Maternal Mental Health with the knowing that we really are coming together and making a difference."

Our inspiring awards are open to all individuals and industries from across the
#GCC.
